Maharashtra minister and BJP leader Nitesh Rane has taken a sarcasm at the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief amid speculation of Uddhav Thackeray’s reconciliation with Raj Thackeray. Rane asked the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief that he had consulted his wife Rashmi Thackeray before reacting to Raj’s statement.
Rane said in a conversation with a Hindi news channel, ‘You should ask Uddhav Thackeray whether he has taken permission of Rashmi Thackeray before joining hands with MNS. His opinion matters more in such decisions.

The minister alleged that it was Rashmi Thackeray who played the lead role in taking Raj Thackeray out of the Shiv Sena, while there was no major differences between the two cousins at that time.
On the possibility of Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena coming together, Rane said that the BJP -led Mahayuti in Maharashtra had won a loud victory. He said, “Therefore we are not worried about any alliance between them.”

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday welcomed the possibility of Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray coming back and described it as a positive step. Talking to reporters, Fadnavis said, ‘If both of them come together, we will be happy. If people resolve their differences, then it is a good thing. What else can I say about it? ‘
