No doctor will be able to issue medical certificate for getting a driving license, this is an important change

In India, the driving license has to be reviewed after the age of 40 years. Now to get the driving license reviewed, the application for medical examination will have to be made online. The Transport Department has taken this decision. Also, the Transport Department has given the responsibility to doctors to review the driving license. This means that now only certificates issued by doctors selected by the Transport Department will be valid. Apart from these, any other doctor’s certificate will not be valid.

Let us tell you that to get the medical certificate, the user will have to first visit the doctor after applying online. For this the user will get an appointment. In fact, there are many websites which have issued medical reports online illegally without checking. The Transport Department is canceling these certificates.

Let us tell you that an investigation team of two members has been formed by the Transport Department to examine the medical certificate. Through this team the report will be sent to senior officials and investigation will be conducted. It is noteworthy that the medical certificate is required during license renewal after the age of 40 years. Apart from this, even at the age of 50, a medical certificate is required to get a new license.

Now the right to issue these certificates has been given only to four doctors of the district hospital. Information regarding these doctors has been registered on the Sarathi website. Applicants will get their medical checkup done by visiting these doctors. After this, the doctor will send the medical certificate of the applicant to the Transport Department through online mode only. Through this process the general public will have to run around less.

this is the process
Let us tell you that after visiting the website of the Transport Department, the user will have to fill form number one. After submitting it, OTP will come on the applicant’s phone which will have to be entered. Form number will have to be kept. The Transport Department has created separate IDs for the four doctors (Dr. Rishabh Kumar Singh- District Hospital MCR, Dr. Aditya- District Hospital MCR, Dr. Rakesh- District Hospital MCR, Dr. Ravindra Kumar- CHC Dadri). The applicant will have to fill the form and submit it to the doctor. The applicant will get a doctor’s appointment through message only, after which his health will be examined and a medical certificate will be issued.
