The Pakistan World Alliance is a advocacy group established in the month of December last year. It also has a connection with Norway’s political party party Centrum. The party Sentrum has said in a post on X that we are happy to announce on behalf of the party Centrum that in an alliance with someone with the right to enroll, we have nominated former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work for human rights and democracy in Pakistan.

In January this, Khan was sentenced to 14 years in jail in a case related to misuse and corruption. This was the fourth major case in which the former Prime Minister was convicted. The courts overturned or suspended three earlier sentences related to selling government gifts, leaking government secrets and illegal marriage. In April 2022, Khan was out of power after a no -confidence motion, however, he rejected all the allegations against him as politically motivated.
