Noida police station Sector 58 police arrested two vicious robbers after an encounter late on Tuesday night. Officials gave this information on Wednesday. Police officials said that the bullet fired by the police is in the leg of a crook.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone I) Sumit Kumar Shukla said that the police station sector 58 was investigating near Bishanpur village last night, when two people riding on the bike appeared.
He said that when the suspect was suspected, the police indicated him to stop, but the crooks escaped from there instead of stopping. Shukla said that the police chased them and surrounded them and seeing themselves surrounded by the police, the miscreants opened fire on the police party.
He said that the police also fired in retaliation. The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the bullet fired by the police hit Shakeel, a resident of Trilokpuri, Delhi. He said that one of its companions Farid had run away from the spot, but later the police also arrested him.
Shukla said that the police have recovered five mobile phones, desi pistols, cartridges and motorcycles used in loot etc. from these miscreants.
He said that many cases have been registered against these miscreants in the past. The police officer said that the injured crook has been admitted to the district hospital in Noida for treatment.
