On the 22nd Foundation Day of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, Jual Oram counted the works being done for Scheduled Tribes society

The 22nd Foundation Day celebrations of the National Scheduled Tribes Commission were celebrated today at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Let us tell you that Union Tribal Affairs Minister Juel Oram attended this ceremony as the chief guest. In his address, he praised the active activities being carried out by the National Scheduled Tribes Commission and said that using the powers provided by the Constitution, the Commission has played an important role in the implementation and monitoring of the Forest Rights Act. He said that his Ministry, along with the Commission, will continue to work continuously for the Scheduled Tribes living a better, respectful life of society, social justice and all -round development. In his address, he also discussed the specific initiatives being made for the Scheduled Tribes Society from the Central Government level and said that his ministry for the education of Scheduled Tribes Classes, Eklavya Model School, Pre and Post Matric Scholarship, National Overshies Scholarship Is taking the initiative. Apart from this, in the direction of a specialized development scheme, the Central Government has identified a total of 75 such communities from the tribal society across the country as a particularly weak tribal group.
Let us tell you that the Foundation Day program was chaired by Mr. Antar Singh Arya, Chairman of the National Scheduled Tribes Commission. In his presidential address, he discussed in detail about the Commission and said that since taking over, the present Commission has been continuously visiting the Scheduled Tribes communities across the country. The Commission is also reviewing various states, districts, public undertakings of the country by making a 100 -day action plan, while successfully discharging its works. He highlighted the works and achievements done by the Commission and said that the Commission is constantly striving to protect and develop the rights of Scheduled Tribes.

During this program, members of the Commission Nirupam Chakma, Dr. Asha Lakra, Jatotu Hussain also shared their experiences in the Commission and expressed their views. On this occasion, Chairman of National Backward Classes Commission Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, National Scheduled Castes Commission member Vadepalli Ramchander and other National Commission Chairman, Member, Secretary and Representatives of Scheduled Tribes, students of universities, students of universities etc. were present. At the end of the program, Joint Secretary of the Commission Amit Nirmal proposed a vote of thanks. After the inauguration session, various sessions based on progress, development, skills, entrepreneurship were also organized after the inauguration session, including experts of the National Skill Development Corporation, academics and policy makers of the University of Delhi shared their views.
