One person dies in a bomb blast in California, USA

One person was killed in a bomb blast outside a clinic on Saturday in the city of Palm Springs, California. The Federal Investigation Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has called it a “intentional terrorist act”.

Akil Davis, head of the Los Angeles Office of FBI, said the clinic was deliberately targeted. However, he refused to explain on what basis the authorities concluded the conclusion of its terrorist attack.

The identity of the person who lost his life in the blast has not been confirmed yet. Davis did not say whether the deceased is suspicious or not, but he said that no other suspect was being searched.

Davis reported that four people were injured in the blast. According to two law enforcement officials who are aware of the case, the incident is being investigated as a possible car blast.

An official told the ‘Associated Press’ that investigators believe that the deceased was probably the same who had exploded, but he also said that the investigation is still in the initial stage.

Palm Springs Police Chief Andy Mills called it “deliberate violence”. According to the city of Palm Springs, the blast took place at 11 am near the North Indian Canian Drive and people were advised to stay away from the area.

Dr. Maher Abdallah, who runs the American Reproductive Center Clinic, confirmed that his clinic was damaged. He informed that all employees are safe and IVF labs and fetus are also safe.
