One youth killed, two injured in firing due to old enmity in Meerut

A youth accused of murder who came out on bail in Hastinapur police station area of ​​Meerut district died on Wednesday and injured two others in a shootout. Police gave this information.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rakesh Kumar Mishra said that the firing took place near Latifpur village in Hastinapur police station area around five o’clock in the evening. According to Kumar, Paramjit alias Gulla (24) died in this incident, who was recently released on bail.

Police suspect that the incident is the result of old enmity. He said that Paramjeet was shot by some people, after which he was taken to the hospital and there was declared him dead by doctors there.

Mishra said that in the shootout, two other companions of Gulla were also injured by being shot and their condition is said to be stable. According to Mishra, prima facie this episode is of old enmity.

All are residents of the same gram panchayat. All aspects are being investigated. On the basis of Tahrir given by the plaintiff side, advance action will be ensured.

On the other hand, the villagers of the scene of the incident say that Gulla was sitting outside the village sitting with friends and drinking alcohol. Meanwhile, some people reached there by motorcycle and car. He started firing indiscriminately on both of them.

Paramjeet died on the spot when two of his friends were injured. Paramjeet went to jail on January 18, 2024 in the murder of Tirath Singh of Kishanpur village. He came out on bail only four months ago.

Paramjit’s wife Payal said that the village head Dildar Singh Gore used to keep a rivalry with her husband Paramjeet. Payal says that Paramjeet Dildar’s brother -in -law went to jail in the murder of Tirath Singh. Due to this, Dildar Singh along with Tirath Singh’s father Prabhu Singh killed Paramjeet.
