Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday described the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir as “very painful” and said that it is “unthinkable” to kill tourists in this way. The former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar also told reporters here that the terrorists attacked the area with high security and the firing continued for 20 minutes.

In this way the killing of tourists is unimaginable.” He said, “One of the dead was from Bihar, but he was posted in Hyderabad. We all express condolences to the members of the bereaved family.”
He referred to Manish Ranjan, an officer of the detective bureau, whose father moved to West Bengal long ago. Ranjan’s wife and children, who were with him at the tourist destination of Jammu and Kashmir, survived the attack. At least 26 people died in the attack.
Yadav also said, “The whole country only wants justice. The culprits should be punished. The Pulwama terror attack has passed so many years. Nobody knows what happened to the investigation.”
