The video shot by a tourist in Pahalgam has gone viral on social media, in which the moment of the terrorist attack on April 22 has been captured. In this video, the person is shown ziplineing himself and the zipline operator is shown thrice as ‘Allahu Akbar’. Recalling the horrific moments of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, the tourist told how he and his family survived narrowly after seeing the firing of the terrorists while zipline.
In a video, the Zipline operator who heard “Allahu Akbar” has been called by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police for questioning. Sources said that after the attack, all the people present at the scene were called by the investigating agencies for questioning. The zipline operator has now been called again and will be questioned by the agencies. This happened after a video from Pahalgam, which was recorded by a person named Rishi Bhatt.
Talking to India Today, Bhatt explained how a zipline operator shouted “Allahu Akbar” and started firing immediately after that. He said that before he climbed the zipline, his wife, son and four others had crossed safely. He said that at that time, the zipline operator did not say “Allahu Akbar”. However, Bhatt claimed that when he was on the zipline, the operator shouted three times and the firing started shortly after.

He said that it took him about 15-20 seconds to understand that the firing has actually started. According to Bhatt, in his video, a person was seen falling down, making him realize that there was some serious mess. He said that after this he stopped his zipline rope, jumped down from a height of about 15 feet and started running away with his wife and son. Bhatt said that his only idea was to save the life of himself and his family at that time. Bhatt then told how he managed to escape from the spot.
On 22 April, at least 26 people were killed in a rare and deadly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack is said to be one of the most terrible attacks in the region, the attack occurred when a group of terrorists wearing uniforms opened fire on tourists in the Basaron grassland.

Following the attack, India launched several strong diplomatic and strategic retaliation against Pakistan, accusing it of supporting terrorism crossing border. The resistance front, considered a branch of the banned Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba, later took responsibility for the attack. In response, India suspended the Indus Water Treaty, shut down the integrated check post in Attari, canceled the SAARC visa exemption for Pakistan and started other measures.
