The Prime Minister of Israel expressed solidarity with the families of the people of India and the victims. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaywal said in a post on X that Prime Minister Modi along with his Israeli counterpart shared the barbaric nature of the terrorist attack crossing the border. Prime Minister Modi also reiterated India’s determination to bring criminals and their supporters into the dock of justice.

Earlier, Israeli Ambassador to India, Ruveen Azar, compared the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 7 October 2023 to Hamas’s attack on Israel on Thursday. He cited similarities in targeting citizens and warned of increasing coordination between terrorist groups. Describing similarities from Hamas -led attacks who killed more than 1,100 people in Israel, Azar pointed out intentionally targeting unarmed citizens in both cases.
