In a separate cyber attack, a website providing healthcare for ex -servicemen was damaged, while Army Institute of Hotel Management and Indian Air Force giants were also targeted. According to officials, in addition to the domains associated with the army, Pakistan-based hackers have repeatedly tried to infiltrate websites related to children, elderly veterans and citizens. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Cyber ​​Department has registered over 1 million cyber attacks on Indian systems by hacking groups from several countries including Pakistan after the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam.

According to a senior police officer, the Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Branch of the State Police Maharashtra Cyber ​​has seen a significant increase in digital attacks since the Kashmir terror attack. Analysts believe that these cyber attacks are part of the campaign intentionally with the aim of increasing tension in digital space. They are seen as elements of Pakistan’s broad hybrid war strategy, including the use of terrorism and information war against India for a long time. Apart from Pakistan, cyber attacks have also started from Middle East, Indonesia and Morocco. The police officer said many hacker groups have claimed allegiance to Islamist ideologies, indicating a potentially coordinated cyber war effort.
