Three others, including an Islamic party leader and children, were injured in an explosion targeting a mosque in northwest Pakistan. No group has taken responsibility for the explosion yet. The explosion was targeted by local leader of the Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) political party, Abdulla Nadeem. South Waziristan District Police Chief Asif Bahadar said that Nadeem has been admitted to the hospital due to serious injuries. The injured also include two children.

This institution has been working as a historic training ground for Afghan Taliban. Earlier this week, on Tuesday, the Jaffer Express train was attacked in Bollan district and more than 300 passengers were abducted and taken hostage by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) militants who demanded the release of their jailed members.
