Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Yugm Conclave at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. During this, he said that the education system plays an important role in preparing the youth for the future of the country, we are modernizing this system. The gross expenditure on research and development (R&D) was Rs 60,000 crore in 2013-14, we have increased it to Rs 1.25 lakh crore. He also said that our goal is to “be effective for India”, we have to work towards making India the best in the world in every future technology.
Modi said that today people of different regions related to government, academy, science and research are present here. This solidarity is called pair. A pairs in which the stecholders associated with Future Tech of developed India are engaged together. I believe, which we are trying to increase India’s role in India’s innovation capacity and deep tech, it will be strengthened by this event.
He said that the future of any country depends on its younger generation, so it is important that we prepare them for the future of our youth and for the bright future of India. In this, a big role in the country’s education system is also, so we are making the education system of the country modern according to the needs of the 21st century. He said that a new National Education Policy has been introduced in the country. It has been designed keeping in mind the global standard of education. After the new education policy, we are also seeing a big change in the Indian education system.
The Prime Minister said that a nation, a digital infrastructure has been constructed under the Diksha platform. It is a infrastructure, AI based. It is being used to prepare textbooks in more than 30 languages and 7 foreign languages of the country. He said that a nation, a membership has given the assurance to the youth that the government understands their needs. Today, due to this scheme, the access of students who have gained higher education have become easier to world class research journals.
He said that we have set a time limit of the next 25 years for the target of developed India. We have limited time, goals are large. I am not saying this for the present. Therefore, it is important that the journey from our thought to prototype should also be completed in the shortest time. When we reduce the market distance from the lab, the results of research start reaching people fast. This also inspires research.
