American military aircraft landed at Amritsar Airport late on Saturday night with 119 Indians from the US. The aircraft landed immediately after PM Modi returned home. Let me tell you, this is the second batch of Indians to be deported by the administration of US President Donald Trump as a promise of action against illegal immigrants. Earlier, the first aircraft landed on 5 February and the third aircraft is also expected to land in India on Sunday.

The C-17 GlobeMaster aircraft of the US Air Force landed at Amritsar International Airport at around 11:40 pm on Saturday night. According to sources, the exiles include 65 from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, eight from Gujarat, two each from Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra and Rajasthan and one each from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. According to sources, most of the exiled people are aged between 18 and 30 years. The families of some of them arrived at the airport to pick them up.

Earlier, those deported were from Haryana (33), Gujarat (33), Punjab (30), Maharashtra (3), Uttar Pradesh (3) and Chandigarh (2). He was sent back by the same military aircraft that flew from San Antonio in Texas. The deported people were stuck in fetters and kept them tied up during the entire flight, but they were freed only after reaching India – this step led to a political storm in India and there was an uproar in both houses of Parliament during the then budget session. .
