Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided appointment letters to newly appointed persons in government departments and organizations in Silvassa, Dadar and Nagar Haveli. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth Rs 2,587 crore. During this, Modi said that I used to get an opportunity to come here many years ago. Silvassa and the entire Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman-Diu was how different at that time. People also felt what could happen in this small place on the sea shore. The worldwide mood here shows how fast new opportunities have developed in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Under this development campaign, the foundation stone of many projects worth more than 2.5 thousand crore rupees has been launched here today. Infrastructure, connectivity, healthcare, education and tourism, that is, a lot of projects related to every field will give further momentum to the development of the region, new opportunities will be created here.
The Prime Minister said that Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman-Diu … This state is our pride, our legacy is also. Therefore, we are making this state a model state, which should be known for its overall development. Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu have reached a state of saturation in many schemes. In every dimension of life, every beneficiary is getting the benefit of the government’s scheme for every need. He said that every person has got food guarantee with the One Nation-One Ration Card, clean water is reaching every family from the water life mission, digital connectivity has been strengthened by India

Modi said that the successes of these schemes have filled the people here with confidence. The positive changes that have led to the government’s plans, the widespread impacts are visible. He said that modern health services have expanded a lot in this region in the past years. In 2023, I got the opportunity to inaugurate ‘Namo Medical College’ here. Now another hospital with a capacity of 450 beds has been added to it, which has been inaugurated here today. Today is also Jan Aushadhi Day. Public medicine means guarantee of cheap treatment! Jana medicine is the mantra – the price is low, the power in medicine! Our government is also building good hospitals, is also providing free treatment facility under Ayushman Yojana and is also giving cheap medicines through Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
