Pope Leo 14th on Wednesday presided over his first general meeting at ‘St. Peters Square’ to provide humanitarian assistance to Gaza Strip and end the “heartbreaking” influence on the people there.
‘St. Peters Square’ is a famous Chowk in front of St. Peter Basilica in Vatican City, Vatican said that about 40,000 people were present in the general assembly of Pope Leo 14th. At the same time, about 2,00,000 people were present at the opening ceremony of Leo 14th as the first American Pope of history.
Former Chicago’s Cardinal Robert Prevost Leo blessed the children during this period, special greetings of various groups of pilgrims. The general meeting held on Wednesday is a weekly meeting program, which the Pope has been holding themselves to give the common devotees a chance to meet themselves. Such a gathering is usually concluded with a brief topical appeal by the Pope about an existing issue or upcoming program. Leo started it with its most popular mantra “Shanti Aapke Ho Ho”. For this purpose, Leo spoke to Italy’s Prime Minister Georgia Meloni over the phone on Tuesday and confirmed the witik’s desire to host the next round of the ceasefire talks between Russia and Ukraine.
