PSL match cancell at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Stadium hit by drone attack

Due to the Indian military attacks, Pakistan Super League has been threatened by organizing the ongoing season. In the Pakistan Super League 2025, there was going to be a match between Peshawar Jalmi and Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday, but the air defense radar system was targeted by the Indian Army at many places on Thursday, which has also come in the grip of Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, due to which PCB has decided to hold the PSL match later in Rawalpindi.

The PCB had to make this decision after the Indian Army’s attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan in response to the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam. The T20 League being held at Pindi Stadium is in its final stages including 6 franchises.
The Cricket Board said in a statement to the media that, the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to hold the PSL match between Peshawar Jalmi and Karachi Kings at any other date in consultation with all stakeholders. The PCB will do Ghishna at the right time on the revised date.
A former Pakistani cricketer told INS that, a PSL match in Rawalpindi was canceled after the attack, causing foreign players to be quite shocked. Many are trying to leave the country as soon as possible.
