The PCB request for hosting the remaining matches of the Emirates Cricket Board is unlikely to approve as it has a cordial relationship with the BCCI.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday adjourned the Pakistan Super League (PSL) indefinitely. A few hours before this, it was announced that the T20 tournament has been transferred to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the ongoing military conflict with India.
The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) has also postponed the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to cross -border tension between neighboring countries. The PCB said in a statement, “The decision to postpone has been taken as per the advice received from Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. National sentiments focus on the courageous efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces that are maintaining Pakistan’s sovereignty. ,
The statement further said, “PCB and its players are standing in solidarity with the families of the martyrs and our security personnel protecting the nation.” However, it is revealed that the Emirates Cricket Board is unlikely to approve PCB’s request to host the remaining matches of the PSL of the Cricket Board as there is no possibility of approved as it is harmoneous with BCCI.
