Criticizing the yoga guru, the High Court said that Ramdev has no control over anyone and lives in his own world, and found him prima facie considering his previous order contempt.
The Delhi High Court on Thursday reprimanded Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev for allegedly releasing another video, targeting Hamdard’s ‘Ruh Afja’. Despite the instructions given earlier, he allegedly made a controversial “Sherbet Jihad” comment on the products of sympathizer. Earlier, the court ordered him not to issue any statements in future or not to share the video regarding the products of sympathizer.
Criticizing the yoga guru, the High Court said that Ramdev has no control over anyone and lives in his own world, and found him prima facie considering his previous order contempt. Justice Amit Bansal was informed on Thursday that despite the court’s directives of April 22, Ramdev has broadcast a video making an objectionable statement. He then said, “In view of the previous order, his affidavit and this video comes under prima facie contempt. I will now issue contempt notice. We are calling them here. ”
Ramdev’s lawyer requested the court to hear the case some time later, as lawyers arguing in the case are not available. Subsequently, the court postponed the hearing for some time. ‘Hamdard National Foundation India’ has filed a petition against Ramdev and his ‘Patanjali Foods Limited’ regarding controversial remarks. The court last said that Ramdev’s “Sharbat Jihad” comment on ‘Hamdard”s Ruh Afza is unfair and has shook his conscience, after which the yoga guru had assured that he would immediately remove the related videos and social media posts.
