Earlier, Narendra Modi was officially welcomed by Cyprus President Nicos Christodolidase at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Nicosia. After the ceremony, the two leaders introduced their delegations and held bilateral discussions. This is an Indian Prime Minister’s first visit to Cyprus.
Prime Minister Modi reached the island country on Sunday afternoon (local time) as part of his three countries visit to Cyprus, Canada and Croatia. He was welcomed by President Christodolidase at Larnaka International Airport and later warmly welcomed the Indian community members in Limasol.
