Relief from pollution in Delhi, Rekha Gupta government started this scheme, preparations for artificial rain

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, ministers Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Kapil Mishra and Ashish Sood launched the Vayu Pollution Scheme 2025. During this, Rekha Gupta said that Environment Day is very close and air pollution in Delhi is a matter related to all of us. We have been suffering from air pollution for years. Air pollution has disturbed the people of Delhi for years. We have a dream – Clean Delhi, Hari Delhi, Healthy Delhi. I am very happy that our Environment Department, our Environment Minister has drafted a spectacular air pollution mitigation scheme 2025.

Rekha Gupta said that soon there will be the first artificial rain in Delhi through cloud seeding. He said that to reduce and eliminate pollution, we would sign a memorandum of compromise with all our science organizations, which will use their latest innovations and help the Delhi government in the fight against pollution. For example, the Delhi government has signed a memorandum with IIT Kanpur, which is based on cloud seeding and artificial rain, which we have approved to start as a pilot project and soon there will be the first artificial rain through cloud seeding in Delhi.

Rekha Gupta said that it will be mandatory to install anti-mog guns on all tall buildings, especially 3000 meters high commercial buildings, malls, hotels etc. and this will reduce dust in the whole of Delhi. The Chief Minister said, “We want only BS-6, CNG and electric vehicles to enter Delhi from November 1.” He informed that projects which have more than 500 square meters of construction site will have to register on the portal of Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC).
