He has created history by scoring a century in both innings one by one. Pant has become the first Indian wicketkeeper batsman in Test history to have scored a century in both innings of a match. He has already become the Indian wicketkeeper to score the most centuries in the Red-Ball form. Pant scored 134 runs in the first innings and in the second innings he has completed his century in 120 balls.

The Indian team played their first offer shoal Test match in the year 1932.
