Rishabh Pant has created history against England. Pant has become the first Indian wicketkeeper batsman in Test history to have scored a century in both innings of a match. He has already become the Indian wicketkeeper to score the most centuries in the Red-Ball form. Pant scored 134 runs in the first innings and in the second innings he has completed his century in 120 balls.
In the first Test between India and England being played in Leeds, the bat of Team India vice -captain Rishabh Pant has been thundering fiercely. He has created history by scoring a century in both innings one by one. Pant has become the first Indian wicketkeeper batsman in Test history to have scored a century in both innings of a match. He has already become the Indian wicketkeeper to score the most centuries in the Red-Ball form. Pant scored 134 runs in the first innings and in the second innings he has completed his century in 120 balls.
The Indian team played their first offer shoal Test match in the year 1932. So far, no wicketkeeper batsman in the history of 93 -year -old Indian Test cricket has been able to score a century in both innings of the Test match. Now Pant has become the only Indian wicketkeeper to do so. Pant has also become the first Indian batsman who has scored a century in both innings of a Test match while playing in England.
Let me tell you that Pant is a total of seventh Indian batsman who has scored a century in two reins of a Test match. Sunil Gavaskar has done this 3 times while Rahul Dravid has done this twice, Vijay Hazare, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane once. Now Pant’s name has also been included in these veterans.
