A Bangladeshi citizen was arrested at an immigration point in West Bengal when he was trying to enter the country using the Indian identity card. The arrested person Salim Sheikh (31) hails from Murshidabad, who was found to have a double identity. The English Bazaar Police took Sheikh into custody and produced it in the Malda District Court. The court sent him to six days police custody. Senior police officer Pradeep Kumar Yadav said that the investigation of the incident has been started. BJP President of South Malda district Ajay Ganguly alleged that fake voters are active in the border districts and are involved in electoral disturbances.
