Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Center and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government in Bihar implement the welfare schemes of the poor in the true sense Pandit is following the ideals of Deendayal Upadhyay. Deendayal ji had emphasized on bringing changes in the life of the man standing behind in the society. Chaudhary said after paying tribute to his statue at Rajendra Nagar Park on the death anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyay on Tuesday, that the Modi government opened 40 crore Jan Dhan accounts in 10 years, gave 4 crore poor houses and toilets to millions of poor families And gave gas connections. This was possible only through the spirit of Antyodaya.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha, Legislative Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, many BJP leaders including local MLA were present. Chaudhary said that on the initiative of Nitish Kumar in Bihar, 94 lakh poor families were identified and assistance of Rs 2-2 lakh was given to each family, so that their lives would be improved.
Chaudhary said that in the general budget of 2025-26, the Modi government has pledged to bring a new scheme for urban poor and to increase the number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana to 1 crore. Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, the number of easy loans ranging from 10 thousand to 50 thousand rupees for small employment has increased to 68 lakhs. Deputy Chief Minister cum Finance Minister Chaudhary said that the central government worried about the poor and middle class in the general budget, now it is to give these sections to these sections in the budget of Bihar.
