In a shocking incident, two private schools were threatened with a bomb on Tuesday after which the students were taken out of the school premises. The report shows that the threat was received via email. Two schools IPS and NDPS have been closed and the school premises have been evacuated after the bomb threatening in Indore. The bomb disposal squad and police checked at New Digambar Public School in Indore after the school received a bomb threat.
DCP Zone 1 Vinod Kumar Meena said that at around 10 am, police received information that IPS College and New Digambar Public School had received threats to bomb through mail. We took out the students and checked at both the places (IPS College and New Digambar Public School). We did not get anything during checking. The FIR has been registered and the investigation is on. After the threat of email, both schools have been closed and students and employees have been taken out, while the bomb squads are searching the spot.
Prior to this incident, an IIT institute located in Simrol police station area of Indore received an email in which the institute was threatened with bombing. The second threat was also to blow up Indore Airport.
