Jaideep Bihani has questioned this defeat of Rajasthan Rodshan in an interview to News18 Rajasthan. He said that only 9 runs were needed in the last over on his home ground, yet lost. It is beyond comprehension and something is wrong. Bihari, referring to the history of Rajasthan Royals, has reminded that in 2013 some players of the team were caught in spot fixing. Apart from this, the franchise owner Raj Kundra was accused of betting. Due to which Rajasthan Royals were suspended from the 2016 and 2017 IPL season.
Bihani has demanded an inquiry into this defeat. He urged the BCCI and other investigating agencies to investigate the matter in depth. He says that such defeat not only hurts the reputation of the team but also affects the morale of the young cricketers of Rajasthan Royals.
In his interview, Bihani also raised the issue of keeping the Rajasthan Cricket Association away from the IPL event. He said that RCA was appointed by the state government as ad hoc committee and during this time cricket competitions were held successfully at all levels but at the time of the IPL organizing, the Rajasthan Sports Council took control of the stadium.
