Son-father convicted in case of rape and murder of minor

A Delhi court has convicted a person in the crime of murder after the rape of a minor girl in the national capital. At the same time, the convict’s father has also been punished, who assisted her in killing the girl.

The girl went missing on February 9, 2019 and her body was found in a park two days later and her hands and feet were tied. Additional Sessions Judge Babita Punia heard the case against 27 -year -old Rajendra and his 57 -year -old father Ram Saran.

In a 168 -page conviction order on 24th February, the court said that the circumstances and the evidence of the prosecution presents a full range from which the unavoidable conclusions lead to the unavoidable conclusion that Rajendra kidnapped the girl to fulfill his lust and sexually assaulted her.

The court said that it has proved beyond proper doubt in the case that the person and his father are responsible for the brutal murder. While Rajendra was convicted on charges of serious sexual harassment under the Poxo Act, besides rape, murder and kidnapping, Saran was convicted under Section 302 (murder) and 34 (general intent) of the Indian Penal Code.

The order said, “The post -mortem report revealed that the motive behind the kidnapping was lust and the objective behind killing his body in the park was to protect itself from the legal punishment.”

ASpecial prosecutor Shravan Kumar Bishnoi appeared on behalf of the Bhaijan side and said that Rajendra entertained the girl by luring chips and harassed her at her house.
