According to Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, the CPP president was brought for regular health check -up due to some minor health problems.
Hospital sources said that Gandhi (78) was admitted to the Gastroenterology Department at around 9 pm. He said that Sonia’s condition is stable and he is under the supervision of a team of doctors. Sonia Gandhi, who was Congress President, underwent medical examination at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on June 9. Two days before the investigation, he conducted some tests at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla after a complaint of high blood pressure.
