Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the recent violence in the state’s Muhidabad district and accused her of doing politics of appeasement under the guise of secularism. On Tuesday, Dhami said that the whole country is agitated by the kind of issues happening in Bengal. Talking to a channel, Dhami further said that it seems that he has forgotten that today’s India is not India of 1947. Soon people will overthrow Mamata Banerjee. On Monday, the Odisha police arrested six people associated with the violence in Murshidabad district. The accused were arrested from their hideout in Jharsuguda. “Six people have been arrested from his hideout in Jharsuguda. They were involved in arson and riots in the villages of Jafarabad and Betbona in Samserganj in Jangipur police district of Murshidabad and fled to Odisha after the incident.”
