Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Thursday and discussed various issues related to the development of the state. Reddy was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu during the meeting.

New Delhi. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Thursday and discussed various issues related to the development of the state. Reddy was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu during the meeting. This was the first meeting between Modi and Reddy after he took oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive time last month.

The Telangana chief minister discussed key pending projects of the southern state with Modi, sources said. Earlier in the day, Reddy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the two leaders discussed matters related to Telangana.

There is no official information yet on what transpired between the two leaders during the meeting but it is understood that issues related to development projects and central assistance to the state were on the agenda. Reddy took over as Telangana chief minister last year after winning the assembly elections in the southern state.
