The Telangana government presented a budget of about Rs 3.05 lakh crore for FY 2025-26. Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramark Mallu introduced the state budget 2025-26. He said that our strategic roadmap for the next decade envisages to create a trillion dollar economy by raising the current $ 200 billion economy by five times the state economy. A provision of Rs 40,232 crore has been made for the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department in the budget. Rs 17,169 crore has been allocated for the Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department.

It is proposed to allocate Rs 11,405 crore for Backward Classes Welfare Department. Rs 3,591 crore has been allocated for Minorities Welfare Department and Rs 2,862 crore for Women and Child Welfare Department. The Finance Minister said that we are developing a master plan to convert Hyderabad into a global city of international standards, focusing on technological advancement, transport expansion, development of infrastructure and environmental protection. As a part of this vision, we have launched the Music Riverfront Development Project to make Hyderabad a pollution -free city.

Mallu Bhatti Vikramark said that to make Telangana a pioneer in modern technology, clean energy and sustainable development, we have prepared ‘Mega Master Plan 2050’. He said that the Telangana budget financial year 2025-26 proposes Rs 24,439 crore for the Department of Agriculture and Rs 23,108 crore for education. He said that a proposal to give Rs 12,393 crore to the Telangana Budget 2025-26 to the Department of Health, Medical and Family Welfare. Rs 23,373 crore will be given to the irrigation department and Rs 21,221 crore to the Energy Department.
