Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in a strong message on Tuesday that on April 22, terrorists in Pahalgam targeted citizens on the basis of religion, while India responded to the terrorists on the basis of their deeds. At an event in Dehradun, Rajnath Singh said, “The terrorists killed people in Pahalgam by asking their religion; we did not ask their religion, but replied after seeing their deeds.” Talking about India’s defense strategy, Singh said that India’s defense sector under Prime Minister Modi’s “adventure and vision” leadership has become “reliable global exporter” from a significant import-manual model. Singh said, “The world witnessed this change during Operation Sindoor recently.” On 22 April, militants, who were found associated with Pakistan, opened fire on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in 26 people, most of which were tourists.

In his address at an event in Dehradun, he also said that the terrorists murdered people in Pahalgam by asking them their religion, but “We did not ask his religion, but replied after seeing his deeds.”

Singh said that in the last 11 years, the government has strengthened the circle of national security under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “In every case related to national security, we have changed both the attitude of the government and how to work. Recently, during Operation Sindoor, the world saw this change. ”
On April 22, 26 people were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, most of which were tourists. In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India started ‘Operation Sindoor’ to destroy nine terrorist structures in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir on the night of May 6.

All the retaliation after the Pakistani attacks was done under this operation. Singh called it a “big and strict action” as a counter -action from India. He said, “This (Operation Sindoor) was the biggest action against terrorism in Indian history, I can say it firmly.”
