According to the police officer, this man named Mohammad Naushad allegedly praised Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba for a terrorist attack on X.

He had allegedly posted inflammatory content on the social media platform X, which included phrases such as “thanks Pakistan” and “Thank you Lashkar-e-Taiba” regarding the Pahalgam terror attack. Naveen Kumar, in -charge of Balidih police station, said, “He was arrested from Milat Nagar under the jurisdiction of Balidih police station. He is being questioned.” At least 26 people, including two foreign nationals, lost their lives in a heinous terrorist attack on Tuesday in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The attackers targeted tourists celebrating picnic in a highly disturbing incident, allegedly asked them about their religion and targeted Hindus before firing. The Resistance Front (TRF), a group associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, took responsibility for the attack. After the 2019 Pulwama attack, it is being described as the most deadly terrorist attack targeting citizens in Jammu and Kashmir.
