The main accused in the Jalandhar Gola explosion case was arrested from Delhi: Punjab Police

The main accused in the grenked explosion case at the residence of BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia in Jalandhar, Punjab, has been arrested from Delhi. A top Punjab Police officer gave this information on Saturday.

The official said that with the help of central agencies and Delhi Police, the main accused Saidul Amin was arrested, who is a resident of Amroha in Uttar Pradesh. Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav posted on ‘X’, “achieving a major success in the Jalandhar Grenade attack case, Jalandhar Commissioner Office Police, with the help of Central Agencies and Delhi Police (Amroha resident of Uttar Pradesh), successfully arrested Saidul Amin from Delhi.”

Yadav said that Saidul is responsible for the grenade attack at Amin Kalia’s residence and is the main accused. The DGP said, “There is a rapid and investigation to find out the stories, financial supporters and potential foreign connections associated with the attack.”

Some people threw grenades at Kalia’s residence on April 7, which broke the glass due to bursting and the vehicles were damaged. No one was injured in this explosion.

The Punjab Police arrested two people in connection with the incident and said that it was a conspiracy of members of Pakistan’s Steering Agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Lawrence Bishnoi gang to create communal tension in Punjab. E-rickshaws used in this crime have also been recovered.
