UP board postponed the examination of February 24 in Prayagraj, the new date will be allen later, know the reason behind this

Due to the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, about crores of people are coming in it on the last day of the Hindu mega festival. The UP government has decided to postpone the board examinations to be held in Prayagraj on 24 February. 54,37,233 students will be present in the Uttar Pradesh board examinations of class 10 and 12 starting on 24 February. Among them, more than 27.32 lakh students will appear in class 10 board examination, while the remaining (more than 27.05 lakh) will appear in the class 12 board examination. A total of 8,140 examination centers have been set up for board examinations. A state-level control room has been set up to monitor the examination using 54 computers.

The UP Board 2025 examinations were scheduled to begin on February 24. According to the datesheet, the UP board exams of class 10, 12 will end on March 12. The examinations will be held in two shifts, the first from 8.30 am to 11:45 pm, the second between 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

Meanwhile, when the UP board examination was postponed, Minister of State for Secondary Education Gulab Devi told ANI, “57 crore people have taken a holy bath in Mahakumbh. Along with Mahakumbh, the students should not be affected, for this, the examinations to be held on February 24 in Prayagraj have been postponed … The dates will be announced later … Special penalty will be imposed on those who cheat. Under IPC, if no person appointed to conduct the exam is done, a provision of imprisonment and fine of a maximum of seven years has been made… Apart from this, if a person should pressurize or threaten such a person. It tries, on which the responsibility of conducting the exam, then he will have a fine of 10 years and a fine of Rs 10 lakh… ”
