UP: Honor of 120 women who made outstanding contribution in various fields in Raj Bhavan

In Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, 120 women who made outstanding contribution in various fields were honored by giving certificates.

Various programs were organized on the occasion of International Women’s Day across the state. According to a statement issued by Raj Bhavan, Governor Anandiben Patel said in his address on the occasion that there is more sensitivity and humanity in women and that is why they are moving forward in every field and doing excellent work.

He said that service is also strong in women, which keeps them active throughout his life. Patel said, “Whether women are at home, in office or any other field, they are always full of energy.”

He said that women are managing both home and office efficiently today. Patel praised the students of the university participating in drama and speech competitions at the Raj Bhavan and encouraged them to do research on social issues such as dowry and child marriage.

On this occasion, women who have done excellent work in various fields shared their experiences and suggestions. In Amethi, a film called ‘Hunarbaz Ladies’ was announced to empower rural women.

District Magistrate Nisha Anant and Superintendent of Police Aparna Rajat Kaushik were present in the film’s Muhurta. In this film with a budget of about 20 to 25 crores, women from local self -help groups will be seen as actors.

40 women from various departments in Jhansi division took over the operation of Babina station. Divisional Railway Manager Deepak Kumar Sinha praised the initiative and described it as “a historic step towards women empowerment”.
