The Assistant Police Commissioner said that a case has been registered against the accused on the basis of the complaint lodged by the girl’s family members. He said that efforts are on to catch the accused.
On Saturday, a seven -year -old girl was allegedly raped by a person from a neighborhood in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. An official gave this information. Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Radha Raman Singh told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “The girl living near the railway crossing was seduced by a person from the same area to a deserted place and raped her.”
He told, “When the girl returned home, there was bleeding from her genitals.” Singh said that the girl’s parents took her to a nearby hospital, from where she was transferred to ‘King George Medical University’. He told, “The girl’s condition is stable and she is conscious.”
The Assistant Police Commissioner said that a case has been registered against the accused on the basis of the complaint lodged by the girl’s family members. He said that efforts are on to catch the accused. However, the officer refused to name the accused.
