Meanwhile, late evening Burke’s personal assistant Abdul Rahman said over the phone, “We have received a notice at the MP’s (Delhi) residence. Uttar Pradesh Police has given us notice. Earlier, Sambhal Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishna Kumar Vishnoi said that the SIT had gone to serve the notice at the residence of the MP, but he was not found. He had said that now the SIT team will go to Delhi to serve not notice.
On Monday, Vishnoi told reporters that legal action is being ensured in the case registered in connection with the violence of November 24. The SP had said in response to a question that the MP is named accused in the work case and it is necessary to record his statement on the basis of this. Last year, on the order of the local court, the violence erupted as a result of the protest during a survey at Sambhal’s Jama Masjid, in which four people were killed and many people, including policemen, were injured.

Addressing the media, SP Bishnoi said, “Our sub-inspector Deepak Rathi, who has been injured, has filed a complaint against 800 people. Zia ur Rehman Burke and Sohail Iqbal have been accused. He said that he had instigated the crowd. Berk had given notice earlier. He had given inflammatory speeches and he had not been asked to do so.”
The police had registered an FIR against Zia ur Rehman Burke, but Sambhal MP described it as a ‘pre -planned’ incident. Samajwadi Party MP Zia ur Rehman Burke also spoke to ANI and said, “This is very unfortunate; this is a pre -planned incident. Muslims are being targeted all over the country and such a bad situation has never happened after independence. The way the place of worship act is being violated. A petitions are being filed and the same day is being heard and the orders are being done on the same day, the people are being surveyed on the same day.
