SP chief Yadav posted on ‘X’ and said, “From the security point of view, the permission of live coverage of ‘Special Operations’ was a strategic negligence or it was inspired by political propaganda, the government should immediately clarify this. Tomorrow, the government will again say that ‘this second lapse has happened’ after a lapse. ‘
Akhilesh Yadav said, “This means that there is an unwanted encroachment of the media in a very sensitive area like security.” He said, “Live coverage will also be seen enemies, so that the ‘location’ of our security forces will be known to them and strategies, which will also put the security of the country and the lives of our soldiers will also be endangered.
The SP chief said, “Strict punitive action should be taken for such live coverage. No compromise with the security of the country and soldiers is not eligible for forgiveness. ” The militants opened fire on tourists at Pahalgam, a major tourist destination of South Kashmir on Tuesday, which included most of the tourists in view of the reporting on defense matters.
The consultation issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said, “In the interest of national security, all media forums, news agencies and social media users are advised to take full responsibility while reporting on matters related to defense and other security-related campaigns and strictly follow the existing laws and rules.
