Haryana’s 33 -year -old Travel Valogger Jyoti Malhotra, who is currently under the custody of Haryana Police, is one of the 11 persons arrested on suspicion of espionage from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in the last two weeks. Investigators suspect the existence of Pakistan -related espionage networks in North India. Jyoti, who runs YouTube channel ‘Travel with Joe’, has about 4 lakh subscribers and has 1.32 lakh followers on Instagram. Jyoti Malhotra has been seen promoting the Vigo app in one of her YouTube videos. Police sources said that all its sponsors are currently under investigation.

Although there is no direct evidence of spying Vigo with espionage or funding with Pakistan, its operations in the country have raised concerns in the context of the matter.
