July 17 was the date when the world’s richest man Elon Musk announced that he would shift the headquarters of his two companies SpaceX and X from California to Texas. Was this step taken by Musk to avoid income tracks? The answer is no, in fact, Musk’s sudden decision seems to be inspired by ideology. In a post on the X handle, Musk wrote that I had made it clear to Governor Newsom about a year ago that such laws would force companies and families to leave California for the safety of their children. Why did Musk react so strongly to this law? Was it because one of his 12 children is transgender and who broke all ties with the Tesla CEO two years ago?
Xavier changed his gender
Musk had five sons from his first marriage to Canadian author Justine Wilson. Twins Xavier and Griffin were born in 2004, followed by triplets Damian, Kai and Saxon in 2006. Elon Musk’s son Xavier changed his gender at the age of 18 and changed his name from Xavier to Vivian Jenna Wilson. According to author Walter Isaacson, he did not inform Papa Musk. Instead, Xavier sent a message to Elon’s sister-in-law saying, “Hey, I’m transgender, and my name is now Jenna. Don’t tell my dad.”
What California law says
California Governor Gavin Newsom signed the new law into law. The protections act comes after many California school districts passed policies that do not require parents to be notified if a child requests to change their gender identity. The reasoning includes leaving it up to students to decide when and to whom to reveal their gender identity. The law states that these decisions are, “highly personal decisions, impacting health and safety as well as important relationships, that every LGBTQ+ person has a right to make for themselves.” Clause (f) of Section 2 of the law states that policies that require students to come out without their consent violate their rights to privacy and self-determination.
like child murder and sterilisation
In an interview with American commentator Jordan Peterson, Elon Musk had said that gender change surgery is actually like child murder and sterilization. It is a virus. Elon had said last year that he would fight to declare transgender medical treatment a crime. Just a month after applying to change from a boy to a girl, Musk had given his support to the Republican Party. It was believed that the reason for this support was to support restricting the rights of transgenders in America.
