Gulveer Singh Athletics Championship, who hails from Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, has given India the first gold medal in 2025. Indian athletes have been covered in the Athletics Championship 2025. In this episode, India was given the first gold medal by Gulveer Singh, a resident of Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Gulveer won the gold medal in the men’s 10,000 meter race at the Asian Athletics Championship 2025, taking a great time of 28 minutes 38.63 seconds in the men’s 10,000 meter race in South Korea. Let me tell you, this is India’s first gold in the championship.
Aligarh is in Sirsa village in the district, where Gulveer Singh comes from an ordinary farmer family. His father Pappu Singh does farming and son has brought gold for the country today. Seeing the success of Gulveer, family members had tears of happiness in their eyes.
Gurveer’s brother Monu told that we came to know from social media that the brother had won the gold medal. When I saw the video, I could not believe the whole village has jumped with joy. Gulveer’s hard work is praiseworthy. He used to start the race every day at 4 in the morning, today the same hard work has brought him to this point.
