Describing the RJD as a party of the culprits of the scam, Poonawala said that the party whose history is associated with the fodder scam, whose leader has been convicted and whose family is facing trial in the job scam instead of land, has no moral ground to preach to anyone.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala on Saturday launched a scathing attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav after a comment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Describing the RJD as a party of the culprits of the scam, Poonawala said that the party whose history is associated with the fodder scam, whose leader has been convicted and whose family is facing trial in the job scam instead of land, has no moral ground to preach to anyone.
Poonawala said that when such people inspired by ego and feudal mentality make fun of the Prime Minister who sometimes sold tea on the railway platform and proceeded from there, their real aristocratic mentality is revealed. Making a sharp comment on dynastic politics, Poonawala accused the RJD of keeping the family above the constitutional institutions. He said, “This is the same mindset in which the family is always placed above constitutional positions. There are also examples in his history where Dr. BR Ambedkar’s picture was insulted by placing him near his feet. The family comes first for him, not the constitution or a nation.”
Tejashwi Yadav, while addressing the media on Friday, termed the Prime Minister’s Siwan rally as planned. Tejashwi alleged, “The administration was engaged to mobilize the crowd. The public was not interested in it, so they had to force them.” He further claimed, “Neither PM Modi nor Nitish Kumar are true people. If Lalu ji stands on the road, millions of people will gather without any effort.”
