world war ii airbus what was china caught doing in the forests of bangladesh

China and Türkiye, who gave fierce support and weapon to Pakistan against Bharat, have now made a big game in Bangladesh. China has been caught red -handed in the forests of Bangladesh, 15 km from the Indian border. Apart from China, Turkey has started talking about unbroken Bangladesh. At the behest of Türkiye, a Bangladesh terrorist organization has released a new map of Islamic Sultanate by calling the states of India its own. In this map, Bangladesh terrorists have described many states of India as their own. But India has also taken a huge action. India, sensing the danger, has made a big announcement against Bangladesh. This announcement was made so that Bangladesh would not later become launch pads like Pakistan for China and Türkiye. China has sent a secret team in the forests of Bangladesh, 15 km from the Indian border. In fact, Bangladesh is planning to recreate its Lalmonirhat airbase near the Indian border with the help of China.

What is this airbase

Originally produced by British authorities in 1931, Lalmanirhat Airfield played an important role during World War II. It was used as an early base by forces of the Allied countries to operate in Southeast Asia including Myanmar. The feature was reportedly spread over 1,166 acres, with four kilometers long runways and adequate turmac space. After partition, Pakistan re -activated Airfield for some time for civil use in 1958. However, the base eventually became unusable and remained in a large extent inactive for decades. The site is currently under the control of the Bangladesh Air Force and is one of the nine official airports in the country. BAF station is known as Lalmanirhat (ICAO Code VGLM), it was considered the second largest airport in Asia during its operating years.

Hasina government had presented the establishment of aviation-airospace university

In 2019, the Bangladesh government, led by Sheikh Hasina, proposed the establishment of an aviation and aerospace university at the site, which is now operational and works under the Bangladesh Air Force command. Recently, the interim government headed by Mohammad Yunus has taken a comprehensive initiative to revive six British-era airports including Lalmanirhat to promote economic development. According to TOI reports, other airports nominated under this scheme include Thakurgaon, Ishwardi, Shamsharanagar, Komila and Bogra.

Why this is strategically important

Lalmanirhat Airbase’s proximity to India’s Siliguri Corridor – also known as “Chicken Nek” – is the center of New Delhi’s growing concerns. Located in North West Bengal, this corridor is just 22 km wide at its most narrow point and connects eight northeastern states of India to the rest of the mainland. It serves as an important route for both citizens and military movement. Any threat to this corridor can destabilize access to the northeastern region of India, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya and Sikkim.
