Wrestler and Congress MLA Vinesh Phogat from Julana have added a new chapter in their lives. He gave birth to a son at Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Vinesh gave on 6 March 2025 through a special post on Instagram. She shared a beautiful photo with her husband Somveer Rathi.

Vinesh’s father -in -law Rajpal Rathi said that Vinesh Phogat’s delivery was done through operation and was completely safe, both mother and son are healthy. Let me tell you that Vinesh and Somveer Rathki were married on 14 December 2018. Somveer Rathi is also a former Indian wrestler. The two first met in 2011. Then both used to work in the railway. Gradually, both of them became friends and then both of them gave heart to each other. After this, Somveer Rathi proposed Vinesh at the airport in 2018 and then tied the knot.

The marriage of these two was also quite different. Actually, Vinesh Phogat and Somveer Rathi took 8 rounds, not 7. In Hindu customs, only 7 rounds are taken in marriage. But both of them dedicated the eighth fee social issues i.e. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Beti Khilao. Due to which their marriage was in the news.
