In the Puvamara area, 50,000 Yaba bullets were seized and one person was arrested, while another campaign recovered 5,800 bullets in Longai area and two people were arrested.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that on Saturday, two separate campaigns were recovered in two separate campaigns in Sri Bhumi district of the state and three people have been arrested in this regard.
The Chief Minister said that the police seized 50,000 Yaba bullets in Puvamara area of the district during a campaign and arrested one person, while in another campaign, 5,800 bullets were recovered in Longai area and two people were arrested.
He said in a post on the social media forum ‘X’, “Sri Bhumi police recovered a drug worth seven crore rupees in the morning. A person has been arrested with recovering 50,000 Yaba bullets in Puvamara. Two people have been arrested in Langai and recovered 5800 Yaba bullets. Yaba is banned in India.
