Requesting privacy for the family, Vijayamma accused YSRCP leaders Vijayasai Reddy and VY Subba Reddy of giving a false narrative about the case despite knowing the facts.
YS Vijayamma, mother of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and state Congress chief YS Sharmila, said her family property was not divided when her husband was alive amid an ongoing property dispute between her children. In an open letter, Vijayamma, widow of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, said all the properties belong to the joint family and said Jagan Reddy and Sharmila will sort out the matter. Requesting privacy for the family, Vijayamma accused YSRCP leaders Vijayasai Reddy and VY Subba Reddy of giving a false narrative about the case despite knowing the facts.
Recently, Jagan Reddy had filed a petition in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) against Sharmila and Vijayamma regarding the share dispute in Saraswati Power and Industries Private Limited. Jagan Reddy said that he initially intended to allot shares to Sharmila “out of love and affection” for her, but withdrew the offer due to her recent political opposition.
Sharmila countered her brother’s allegation, claiming that she was targeted after entering politics, despite her involvement being for “family honor and YSR’s reputation”.
