The family of a 23 -year -old youth who went missing in a German lake said on Thursday that he appealed to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Minister Rajesh Dharmani to appeal to the Ministry of External Affairs to contact the German government for all possible help.
Aryan, who hails from Kandraur Kaswa area of Bilaspur district, was studying MBA in Munich, Germany since 2024. Aryan’s father Vichitra Singh Chandel said that he received information at around 10 pm on Sunday night that his son had gone missing.
He was told that at around 1:30 pm that day, Aryan went to swim in the lake, where he is feared to be drowned. According to his acquaintances living in Germany, Aryan was a skilled swimmer, but the possibility of his drowning cannot be denied.
However, neither his body has been found nor any clue has been found about him. Parents said that ever since this news came, they are very sad, because Aryan is his only son.
Chandel told that on the day of Father’s Day four days ago, when Aryan went to visit the lake with his friends, he called him. He also called his uncle and wished that day. On contact, an official spokesperson said that efforts are on to find the missing student and the help of the Ministry of External Affairs is being taken in this regard.
