This will prevent 101 crore carbon dioxide emissions, which is equivalent to planting four crore trees. This will also help us to save the country’s 20 million liters of diesel annually … This project is in the Ballari region on the border of Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh.

The increased capacity of the railway line will significantly increase transportation, which will improve the operational efficiency and service credibility of Indian Railways. The ministry said, “Two projects incorporating seven districts of Jharkhand, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh states will increase the existing network of Indian Railways by about 318 km.” The Ministry said that these projects will help reduce the country’s logistic cost, reduce the logistic cost of the country, reduce the oil imports by 52 crore liters and cut the carbon dioxide emissions, which is equivalent to planting 264 crore kg.
