Gurugram: S M Sehgal Foundation (NGO) organized a special event to commemorate its 25th anniversary at its Green Building office located in Gurugram, Haryana. SM Sehgal Foundation, established as a public charitable trust in 1999, is working to develop community leadership for positive social, economic and environmental change in rural India so that every person in rural areas can live a secure and prosperous life.
Academic and corporate partners who have been working with the Foundation for years participated in the event. Over the past 25 years the Foundation has had a presence in over 2,658 villages in 66 districts across 12 states in India. Jai Sehgal, Trustee, SM Sehgal Foundation, launched the event, and said “The continued success of the Foundation is attributable to the hard work of our talented and committed team of partners. On this special occasion we express our gratitude to the communities with whose support weWe are continuously partnering together in the progress and development of rural India.”

A video and coffee table book based on the 25-year journey and achievements of the Foundation was unveiled at the event. On this occasion, through digital exhibition, the works of the Foundation with various partners in states like Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh were showcased. SM Foundation believes in working together with communities to bring positive change in their lives.
